Detached
Detached work is about being on young people’s turf, about youth workers building relationships with young people in the places that they hang out. This could be at the park, on the streets or even in a bus shelter. There are many barriers to young people accessing provision and detached work breaks those down by meeting young people at their point of need.
We are currently doing 3 detached sessions per week. Come and see us around East Bowling on a Monday afternoon, or around Sutton and Tyersal, or Bierley on a Thursday evening,
