e:merge values the contribution of its volunteers and has a comprehensive volunteer policy in place. e:merge volunteers can expect to have the opportunity for self development, through training and support.

There are clear lines of accountability and each volunteer has a named person that they can go to for advice, training, support, and encourage regular constructive feedback for both the volunteer and e:merge.

We endeavour to give sufficient information to volunteers about projects and tasks to enable them to contribute to deciding how they will be used.

All volunteers have the right to be treated with respect and without discrimination, to be able to say 'no' without feeling guilty and to have reasonable out of pocket expenses reimbursed.
