Young leaders
Young Leaders is Sports Leadership training for Young People between the ages of 9-13 that promotes them working with younger children, teaching them Leadership skills through a range of games and activities. The Young Leaders 'Learn by doing' and, by the end of the course, will not only have the confidence and ability to lead others but will also have the knowledge and experience of an extensive range of games and activities.

Mini games
Mini Games are designed to be an inclusive and enjoyable way for Young People to learn the fundamentals of Sport in an interactive way. We use mini games for Primary school Children and it is particularly successful for mixed sexed groups as most of the games are non-contact games.
Team building and transition
In regard to team building we attempt to incorporate this into all the sessions that we run. These activities tend to involve group cohesion and strategy which is aimed at developing communication, leadership and problem solving. These sessions are very popular in a school setting due to the tasks being inclusive and suitable for groups with a large age range.
Sport specific
We can offer qualified coaching in a variety of different sports including Football, Basketball, Badminton, Tag Rugby, Futsal, Softball and more.
PPA time (planning, preparation & assessment)
We are able to offer schools a range of support during the school timetable. All the sessions we deliver can easily be incorporated into a school setting. These sessions include coordinating lunch time activities and taking the lead on P.E lessons.
Secondary schools
Sports leaders level 1
The Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership is a nationally recognized qualification that enables successful candidates to lead small groups in simple sport and recreational activities whilst under the direct supervision of their tutor.
The qualification teaches generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. It is a fun and practical qualification with no entrance requirements or final examinations to sit.
- Age - 14+ (please note, there is no upper age limit for this qualification)
- Guided Learning Hours - 30 hours (plus one hour demonstration of leadership)
FIT4ALL
FIT4ALL encompasses our healthy lifestyles work; we have developed two programmes under this banner. This first course is aimed at 11-17 year olds and focuses on weight management and healthy eating. The second course is specifically for 8-11's and takes a holistic approach towards healthy living including mini circuit training, smoothie making, small sided sports, junior aerobics and healthy eating games.
Bike sessions
We currently offer a range of biking sessions which include basic bike maintenance, trail riding skills and road safety. We have 10 fully functioning mountain bikes along with relevant tools and safety equipment. Cycling routes include Black Carr woods, Calverly woods, Leeds/Bradford towpath, Peel park race track and Bierley woods.
Holiday activities
Providing local Young People with the opportunities to invest their well earned school holidays in rip roaring sports action!
We run a sports camp every summer called X-sport which allows 80 young people from across the Bradford area to access 3 days of top quality coaching and fun, this is a great time for Youth Workers to build relationships with the Young People we do not already have communication with.
